08. Run action with hot key
By using Task3, various actions can be run with hot key. This document explains a setting to launch Safari with a hot key. Of course other actions like running script, unmounting a volume can be set too.

(Trigger)
1. Hot key
Input any one character to be used as hot key and check modifier keys. The number keys of key pad and function keys are ignored so far. If the key combination is used in active application (like command+s), the hot key doesn't work too.
For example set "s" key and check "control" and "command".




(Action)
1. Open File/Application
Choose "Safari".




and save the setting by pressing command + s. Then when "command+control+s" key is pressed, Safari is launched and it becomes active.
Conditions to run this action can be added. For example...

(Condition)
1. Application (Optional)
Input "Firefox" and "is not running".
Then Safari will be launched only if FireFox is NOT running. Other conditions also are able to added like "Launch Safari during 8:00 to 17:00.".
