This document explains how to use Task3 as a launcher on menu bar.
First, open preference panel and turn on "Show Task3 status item on menu bar" and save tasks.
Then Task3 displays every task on menu bar.

By choosing one of those tasks, the chosen task will be executed. In this case, the conditions that task contains will be ignored and the actions will be executed always. There are many similar launchers like this, but Task3 not only can run application but also can run multiple applications, files, AppleScripts or Shell Scripts.
The task also can be executed via global hot key.
